I don’t go back and alter the design of books from previous years but I am always trying to improve the look and layout of the books I am currently working on. I use Mixbook which allows me to submit books of 399 pages per annum so they are pretty comprehensive (or boring according to some members of my family).
In the main they contain pages of photos (mainly family and friends but I do include the odd news item as well) plus commentary. As well as these earlier books I try to complete a book every year for the current year. I started when my dad died and I discovered 100s of photos in a trunk and I decided to create a book, which began in 1918, from them to make them more visible.
